Lenten Offering: Aids Orphans and Community Health, Maua Hospital
Our special offering during the season of Lent will support Aids Orphans and Community Health, Maua Hospital in Kenya. Their mission is to provide food, tuition, uniforms, shoes and medical care for 1,600 children orphaned by AIDS. One of the ways that they are continuing to care for those who have AIDS is to provide them with housing. So this year Kingwood’s missions team has set a goal of raising $15,000 which would provide the funds to build 3 homes in Kenya for families that have been affected by AIDS. Special Lenten envelopes are available for the offering.
