FOOD PANTRY

Food Pantry Open 9:30 am - 12 pm Thursdays

The Food Pantry provides food on an emergency basis to families and individuals from Wheeling Township, which includes surrounding suburbs.  Through the generous donations of food items from Kingswood and other community members, we have been able to serve 40-60 families each week.  Donations are accepted in our Fireside Room in the designated bin.  Items may be dropped off between 9 am and 5 pm daily.  The items most needed are:
  • Cereal
  • Pasta, pasta sauce, and mac & cheese
  • Canned chili, beef stew, chicken & dumplings, tomato soup, and chicken noodle soup
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Canned tuna (small cans)
  • Canned green beans, potatoes, diced tomatoes, corn, and canned fruit
  • Bags of rice
  • Diapers, especially sizes 4-7
  • Baby wipes
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Hygiene products
