Dig out your platform shoes and bell-bottom jeans, dust off those sequins, and channel your inner Dancing Queen as you transport yourself back to the 70's and 80's at the upcoming "Mamma Mia! Sing-Along" event at the Buffalo Grove campus on Friday, August 23. The Kingswood Q Fellowship group invites everyone young and old - come by yourself or with your family - to enjoy this engaging movie which is well-loved not only for its homage to Swedish pop sensation Abba, but also for its theme of acceptance. Dress up (or down) and join your fellow church members for fun and fellowship. Everyone is invited to gather at 6:30 pm to get comfy, load up on snacks (provided), and watch this iconic movie beginning at 7 pm with lyrics on the big screen. If folding chairs are not for you, bring a comfortable lawn chair, or spread out a blanket; bring pillows for the kids. You can either sit back and enjoy the movie, or sing and dance along (no judgment!). Popcorn, lemonade, and movie-type snacks will be provided. Costumes, 70s attire optional. The movie is PG-13 rated.
