Please note a few important updates for this session:
- All volunteers, whether it is your first time delivering meals or your twentieth, will be required to attend a training session hosted by Wheeling Township. Training dates and times will be shared soon.
- Additionally, as part of new safety measures for both clients and volunteers, Wheeling Township will begin requiring background checks for all volunteers starting later this summer. There will be no cost to volunteers, and additional details will be shared as they become available.

WeedFolk Team at BG
Do you love gardening and enjoy seeing the flowers starting to bloom around the building? Then please consider joining the WeedFolk team. The area around the Buffalo Grove campus has been divided into areas, and each needs a volunteer to care for the space. Each volunteer sets their own schedule. Some members have already agreed to continue caring for the area they adopted in prior years, and we are so thankful! Other areas are still in need of adoption. Interested in helping? Please contact Sue Entwistle (entwist@aol.com) or find her between services. An aerial photo of the church showing the various areas will be on display in the Fireside Room starting Sunday, May 3rd, along with a sign-up sheet. Please join us in keeping the grounds looking beautiful and inviting.

Food Pantry
The Food Pantry at the Buffalo Grove campus provides food on an emergency basis to families and individuals from Wheeling Township, which includes surrounding suburbs. Through the generous donations of food items from Kingswood and other community members, we are able to serve 40-60 families each week.

PADS Homeless Ministry
PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) is a serving ministry of Kingswood Church, seeking to provide temporary shelter, meals, and support for our brothers and sisters without homes and housing. We have opportunities to serve in both Buffalo Grove and Deerfield.

New Beginnings Thrift Store
New Beginnings (NB) Thrift Store is an on-site shop next door to Kingswood at Manna House on the Buffalo Grove campus. The NB Thrift Store has a dual mission: to give back to Kingswood by raising funds for its ministries, and to give back to the wider community by offering a financially accessible, welcoming place to shop.
